Welcome to the Edinburgh Women's Golf Association (EWGA)
Our golf association is comprised of both 9 hole and 18 hole leagues. The 9 hole league will play on Tuesday evenings and the 18 hole league plays every other Saturday. This year will also have a 9 hole Thursday morning open play. This open play is an opportunity for ladies to go out and play. There will be no league events held on Thursday AM, unless you and your group decides to play some type of side wages/bets. Our golf season is from April to October. We are a friendly group of women who not only enjoy the game of golf but we welcome all levels of play. We are open to all women golfers, and you do not need to reside in the city of Brooklyn Park.
We are a very diverse group of women golfers, with a wide range of abilities but we all have one common factor; we LOVE the game of golf. In our league, there is something available for all players, whether you are looking for competitive golf, socializing or just getting out and playing the game. Edinburgh USA can be a challenging course with a lot of hazards (both sand and water) but as long as you can keep up with the pace of play, we invite you to join our league. We hope by joining you will formulate lasting friendships with women who share your love of this game.
We not only offer tournaments and events, we also include a Day Trip Golf Outing in June and Invitational/Guest Day in July to our members.
We are looking forward to our upcoming season and we hope you will be joining us. Our theme for this season is "Just Go Play", golf is your game, go play and have fun. We want everyone to feel part of and become more involved in the EWGA.
