Welcome to the Edinburgh Women's Golf Assosication

The Edinburgh Women's Golf Association (EWGA) plays on Tuesday evenings (9-holes), Thursday mornings (9-holes) and every other Saturday (18-Holes) from April to October. The club has a great time in an atmosphere that welcomes all levels of play.

We are a diverse group of golfers with handicaps ranging from 6 - 40. We have one thing in common, we LOVE the game. In this league there really is something for everyone. We have competitive players, players for fun, players who just enjoy getting outside for walk/ride. We welcome all levels of play. Our course can be a challenge with lots of sand and water but as long as you can keep the pace of play moving we invite you to join us for the 2009 season.

The EWGA offers tournaments and events during the golf season for our members including the annual June Day Trip Golf Outing and the Invitational / Guest Day in July. This year our entire league is working on our putting.

	Saturday 6/13 Event Winners (2-person blind draw) 1st (62)- $13.00 each BERGLAND, Leslie WAGNER, Patty 2nd (64) - $10 each (tie) COFFING, Tammy STEINHAGEN, Cathy HETRICK, Mary LOGELIN, Kal 3rd (65) - $7 each FISHER, Judy SCHNEIDER, Lindsay Match Play VS Par - Saturday (June 27, 2009) The sign-up sheet for the Saturday league event on June 27th is posted in the women's locker room. This will be a flighted, net score event. You will win holes by obtaining a net score better then par. The winners will be determined by the number of holes won.
